Their data centres are in the US or EU, and Australian customers are an afterthought. Self-hosting a solution is technically possible, but it means standing up and maintaining your own infrastructure, managing security patches, handling backups, and paying someone to keep it all running. For most teams, that cost and complexity far outweighs the benefit.
We couldn't find a cloud-based IT helpdesk that was simple to use, reasonably priced, and kept Australian data in Australia. So we stopped looking and started building.
